Tamwood college is located in the city center of Vancouver where students can completely immerse themselves in the city’s language and culture. A spacious and modern building, the school features bright classrooms, a student lounge and a computer room with free Internet access. There is also a convenient gourmet cafeteria located on the first floor of the building.
Tamwood has created its own curriculum, which teacher students to communicate effectively in English. The main objectives of the General English programme are to develop student’s communication skills in English; to improve their grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation; and to work on the key areas of speaking, listening, reading and writing.
Activities
There is more to life than studying! The school has an activity leader on staff who organizes a variety of fun and cultural events every week. You can join your fellow students the school theater nights, sporting matches, museum and gallery tours, parties, mountain biking, pub nights, pizza lunches, dinner parties, beach volleyball, shopping trips, whale watching, ice skating and weekend trips.

When you attend Tamwood, you have many options in choosing your accommodations. All homestay are visited an approved by the school home stay coordinator to ensure a comfortable, convenient and safe place to live.
