Nelson English Centre is a unique school with the highest standards. Activities
When you arrive in Nelson, a school representative will meet you at the airport or bus station and take you to your homestay family. Nelson host families are friendly, kind people who enjoy speaking with international visitors.

Once a month the school minibus goes on a “Wonder Weekend” an educational adventure tour to one of the many exciting destinations at the top of the South Island . From the snowy Lewis Pass to magical Golden Bay, students see parts of New Zealand other tourists never see.
Area Introduction
Situated at the northern end of New most Zealand’s extensive mountain range , this mid-sized city has beautiful beaches and clear sunny weather. An hours drive away from the city centre you can find the Southern Alps , Golden Bay, and three National parks , including the famous Abel Tasman national Park.
