The school is modern, with 12 spacious and naturally lit classrooms and a computer room with 9 computers and free internet access. The school offers a variety of leisure and social activities, from surfing, snorkelling and sailing, to beach parties and concerts and even skydiving. A great many of these events are free or inexpensive. There are excursions to Los Angeles, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and to sporting and cultural events.

Nearby mountains and the deserts of Nevada offer contrasting scenery and a chance for different activities. Los Angeles, Las Vegas and The Grand Canyon are all within easy reach of San Diego, and the Mexican border is only a 45 minute journey away.
