The Kaplan Aspect school is located right in the Edinburgh city centre; in a 200 year old building just five minutes walk away from the main shopping centre. Established in 1995, the school has 10 classrooms, a computer room, a student common room with tv, video, vending machines and a microwave.

Students are placed in residential areas, usually a short bus ride away. Single and twin bed accommodation is available. Student in twin room accommodation usually share a room with a student from another nationality, or the same if specially requested.

The social programme includes visits to Edinburgh castle, local tours, video evenings, cinema visits, quiz nights and international food parties. Full day excursions in the weekends are organized by a professional tour group and include visits to the Highlands, Loch Lomond and St Andrews.

General English courses focus on improving grammer, and building confidence in pronunciation. A range of special programmes vary from English for Business to an Internship programme.
