The school is Located in Campbell, in the heart of Silicon Valley, in a suburb of San Jose named one of the safest big cities in America. The mild climate and proximity to San Francisco, several major universities, and the Pacific Ocean offer students the opportunity to enjoy many world class cultural and recreational activities.

The school is at the intersection of San Tomas Expressway and Hamilton Avenue and is easily accessible by car, with free parking on the premises. There is also a major bus stop in front of the school which connects to the train and light rail stations.

Facilities

Golden Gate Language School offers students modern classrooms with flat panel screens and a well-equipped lunchroom facility with complimentary coffee and tea. In addition, there is a computer laboratory for e-mail, internet, and computer-aided instruction. Students also have free wireless internet access. The administrative offices are also conveniently located at the school.

Faculty

The English language instructors are highly qualified teaching professionals. Most hold masters degrees or certificates for teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL), and many speak one or more other languages. All have either lived or traveled outside of the United States and are sensitive to the problems one experiences in a foreign country.

Cultural & Social Activities

The cultural and social events of the school are not only fun, but also provide great learning experiences for the students. GGLS offers many social and sports activity clubs as well as planned one day excursions.
Examples of past field trips include San Francisco, Monterey, the Napa Valley, Disneyland and Santa Cruz. There are also spontaneous outings such as movies, hikes or bowling, and each session concludes with a potluck lunch and graduation ceremony.
