GV Noosa is a ten minute walk to the beach, and the many European and Japanese students enjoy a steady dose of sunshine, surfing and beach activities. Living close to the school — there is plenty to do with restaurants, shops, cafe’s and cinema’s making sure that after-school life can be enjoyed at leisure.
Noosa is about an hours drive north from Brisbane, with a subtropical climate the summer temperatures are about 30 degrees. In winter the temperature remains at around 20 degrees. Plenty of popular water sports are available. Surfing, beach volleyball, diving, whale tours and watching dolphins are all very popular.
Living in Noosa has the advantage of a lower cost of living, but you can still enjoy a multi-national environment. Noosa’s natural beaty and mild climate attract tourists year round.
