The GEOS Auckland Language Centre, established in 1984, is one of the longest established private English language schools in New Zealand. The college is located in the centre of Auckland City, next to a park and a church. It is close to inner-city conveniences such as banks, shops, post office, bus stations, restaurants and cafes. The school has 42 classrooms on six floors of two modern office buildings. Classrooms are spacious and all have natural light. Other facilities include student lounges, a recreation room and a large self access centre offering internet and e-mail access for students, self study materials and library resources.

All activities are organized and coordinated by an Activities Coordinator; an afternoon at the rugby, a sail on the harbor, horseback riding in the rainforest, a weekend trip up north to the Bay of Islands, or a skiing trip down south to Mt Ruapehu, one of NZ many volcanoes, there is always something exciting to do at a very reasonable price.

The school has a range of accommodation options, from single room homestay , students hostels where 10-20 people share a room or helping you find your own apartment in Auckland.

Courses include General, Academic and English for Business. Students who study for 12 weeks or more can study at any second GEOS New Zealand school and have a free flight connection paid for.
