Eurocentres Silicon Valley is situated in a very safe, highly educated, upper middle-class community across the road from Menlo College, close to Stanford and Palo Alto and a 45-minute Caltrain trip from downtown San Francisco.
The main centre of Menlo Park with its many restaurants, bistros, cafes, and boutiques is 5 minutes on foot. The school is also close to Stanford Shopping Center, the Bay Area’s most elite place for shopping outside of San Francisco.
Eurocentres Silicon Valley has stand-alone modern premises with an open, friendly atmosphere in which staff and students mix all the time in a naturally English-only environment in the central open space. Some two-thirds of the students are going on to academic study at nearby colleges and universities.
Area Introduction
Students are encouraged to enjoy all that Silicon Valley and the San Francisco Bay Area have to offer. Various suggestions are offered for taking advantage of special events on public holidays, and school staff can provide any assistance that may be necessary. Information is provided on the innumerable activities going on, as well as places of interest such as museums, art galleries, etc. The aim is to encourage students to make discoveries, to immerse themselves in the environment and the culture. We also organise social & theme parties to help students to mix, gain knowledge about each other’s backgrounds and make lasting friendships.
