Embassy CES Hastings is situated in Gensing Manor, a beautiful Victorian mansion set in its own gardens in a pleasant residential part of town.
The seafront, which is the heart of Hastings in the summer months, is only a short walk away. It is also conveniently placed close to the town centre and accommodation is available nearby with friendly host families.
The centre boasts 15 spacious classrooms and a large IT suite with 16 computers at the time of writing.
There is a student cafeteria seating 80 serving hot food and sandwiches and containing indoor games facilities. There is also a lending library for students.
Homestay accommodation is available with friendly host families in Hastings.Residential accommodation is available at the Mayfair Residence on the seafront, only 5 minutes’walk from the school.
Special at the Hasting Centre is the large English teaching training facility which offers courses from teaching business English, Teaching young learners to experienced teachers of English.
Location
Hastings is a seaside resort on the south coast of England, 90 minutes by train from the centre of London. It has a population of around 80,000 and is best known as the site of the Battle of Hastings in 1066.
Hastings’ importance as a historical centre is combined today with all the attractions and amenities of a modern resort, which annually attracts over two million visitors.
For a town of its size, there is a lot going on in Hastings – even in the winter. It is particularly suited to the student who would prefer a seaside town which is not too large or crowded.
