Conerstone is conveniently located in central Toronto, directly accessible from the subway. A large and spacious cafeteria is popular with students not only for lunch but also for relaxing after school.
The school challenges its students. A variety of programs and special electives give students a choice to study not just English but also the topics they are most interested in in. Homework is given three times per week, followed by a weekly test and a final exam at the end of every month.
Free conversation classes every Wednesday afternoon give students an opportunity to learn more about their classmates, teachers and learn about Canadian culture in a relaxed setting.
A Bridge program for elementary, junior and high school students allows children to study english in the morning along with Canadian specific topics such as Geography, Social Studies and Canadian culture. Many parents study with their children at the same school.
Environment
The city of Toronto has much to offer, from theatre, music, literature, sports to outdoor and recreation, there are many activities for the adventurous to undertake. The school will escort you on field trips to Toronto’s museums, historical sites, universities and companies.
