English for Business
Business courses give students practice in reading and writing business correspondence, and to communicate verbally (telephone skills, presentations, talks and business meetings). The focus is also on building the students’ business vocabulary, as well as improving students’ research skills. Many courses include a small business project to help students make use of practical skills they have developed during the course and experience in working as a team.
These courses are best when combined with General English programmes that build a strong general vocabulary.
