Language schools in San Francisco
With its steep rolling hills, mix of modern and Victorian architecture and patchwork of multi cultural neighborhoods San Francisco is often noted as one of America’s most beautiful cities. What makes it different is the many different nationalities living and working together – spread out over a variety of very uniquely different neighborhoods with lively markets and shopping centers.
Spanning three kilometers across the Bay, the Golden Gate Bridge is the city’s most famous symbol. Other famous landmarks include the former prison island of Alcatraz, the cities cable cars and of course the color and life of Chinatown. The biggest and best-known park is Golden Gate Park, stretching from the center of the city to the Pacific Ocean. Pier 39 on Fisherman’s Warf is also a popular destination for both locals and tourists, with shops, video arcades and street performances.
There is no shortage of evening entertainment; the city is home to over 30,000 restaurants, many of them inexpensive, deeper into the evening there are many dance clubs and life music performances.
