Cabs in the streets of New York CityIt is the largest city in the USA and one of the most famous places in the world. New York is an attraction for international students from all around the world and you can experience many of the worlds different flavors just inside the city.

This is not a place where you are done sightseeing soon. It is home to the Empire State Building, the statue of Liberty, Wall Street, Times Square and many museums. You can watch Broadway shows, walk in Central Park, enjoy bars, restaurants and nightclubs at night and see the most important corporations and shops in the world.

There are also plenty of opportunities to continue to study after completing your English course, or find a work placement.

The only drawback of living in such a big city is the rushed pace of life. It is much harder for international students to meet the locals. The schools activity programme — and student residences are good places to meet with other students — both international and American.
