Brighton offers a beach setting in English style. Located on the South coast of England it has some of the nicest weather in the UK and it became “the” place for Londoners to go to back in the 1840’s when the first railway arrived. With some 8 million tourists a year, the city is well setup to cater for visitors, restaurants, events, shops and entertainment. The streets are alive with entertainers, especially during the summer months.

Close to London, but much smaller and considerably safer, Brighton is home to language schools for all ages. Home stays are usually just a short bus ride away, and sometimes within walking distance. The city is popular year round with students, but especially during the summer break many schools host groups of younger students (14-18), usually at another facility away from the main school. The city is also home to the University of Brighton, with its 20,000 students spread over several locations in the city.
